Mariners vs. Blue Jays Prediction: Game 7 ALCS Preview

  • Get MLB picks and analysis for Mariners vs. Blue Jays.
  • Toronto is -130 to win Mondayโ€™s Game 7.

A trip to the World Series will be on the line when the Toronto Blue Jays host the Seattle Mariners for Game 7 of the ALCS at 8:10 p.m. ET on Monday at the Rogers Centre on FOX.

This series has come down to a winner-take-all matchup. The Mariners are seeking their first pennant in franchise history, while the Blue Jays havenโ€™t reached the World Series since 1993.

The winner will face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the Fall Classic.

Shane Bieber will start for the Blue Jays, who enter this matchup as betting favorites at home. George Kirby will get the nod for the Mariners.

Mariners vs. Blue Jays Prediction for Game 7

  • Blue Jays moneyline (-130)

My favorite Mariners vs. Blue Jays prediction is Torontoโ€™s moneyline in Game 7 of the ALCS on Monday at the Rogers Centre.

I like the over on the Blue Jaysโ€™ team total of 3.5, which costs -130 as well. These are similar wagers, with Toronto likely needing four runs to prevail on Monday. A same-game parlay of over 3.5 runs and Toronto moneyline is +120.

Ballpark Palโ€™s model projects the Blue Jays to win 4.47-4.23. They have a 55.4% chance of victory, which suggests a -124 price tag on the moneyline.

I wouldnโ€™t usually play the Blue Jaysโ€™ moneyline, but they are positioned for success in this winner-take-all matchup.

Bieber will get the start after allowing two runs in six innings during Game 3 of the ALCS. Bieber has allowed two earned runs or fewer in five straight starts.

The Blue Jaysโ€™ lineup has been hot since going down 0-2 in this series. They have won three of the last four games, scoring 29 runs over that span.

Toronto has scored at least four runs in seven different games this postseason, including all six of its victories. The Blue Jays now get a second look at Kirby, who coughed up eight runs on as many hits across four innings in Game 3.

I believe in the Blue Jays’ lineup in Game 7.

Prediction: Blue Jays moneyline (-130)

Blue Jays vs. Mariners Odds for Game 7
