The Cleveland Cavaliers have a win total of 56.5 at the BetMGM online sportsbook ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season.

Coming off a 64-win season, the Cavsโ€™ NBA betting win total is their highest preseason over/under since 2016-17.

Cavaliers Over/Under Wins 2025-26

  • Over 56.5 wins: -115
  • Under 56.5 wins: -105

Cavaliers Win Total Prediction

  • Over 56.5 wins

Someone in the Eastern Conference has to win 60 games.

Although their second-round exit might leave a sour taste, the Cavs enter the upcoming season as the best team in the East. They are the No. 2 team in the league, according to my updated NBA power rankings for the 2025-26 campaign.

Cleveland will be excellent again this season. The continuity should even give the Cavaliers an advantage, as the rest of the conference is dealing with significant changes.

In his first season at the helm, Kenny Atkinson helped engineer the best offensive team in the league. This came after Cleveland ranked 18th in offensive rating during the 2023-24 season.

Donovan Mitchell averaged 24 points per game on his way to making the All-NBA first team. Evan Mobley netted a second-team selection and the Defensive Player of the Year award. Darius Garland was an All-Star and averaged 20 points per game.

Iโ€™d argue the Cavs could even be better next year. They ranked eighth in defensive rating after being first in that metric with a similar roster just two seasons ago.

There is a chance that Cleveland may not be as motivated to win a large number of regular-season games.

However, the East is vulnerable enough that it might not matter, considering the best team in the conference has consistently cleared this win total over the last three years.
