Kings Over/Under Wins 2026-27

Kings Win Total Prediction

  • Under 21.5 wins (-115) — Prediction made Aug. 27

The Kings might have the lowest win total in the NBA this season, but I still like the under because it could always drop before their season opener.

As of this writing, Zach LaVine is still a member of the Kings. But he seems like a potential trade candidate, which would certainly drop Sacramento’s power rating even further.

LaVine has played 71 games for the Kings across the past two seasons, averaging 20.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, and three assists per contest. If LaVine is traded, that puts a lot of pressure on rookie guard Darius Acuff Jr.

Acuff had an electric freshman season at Arkansas, leading to him being the No. 7 pick in the NBA Draft. Acuff averaged 23.5 points and 6.4 assists for the Razorbacks. He makes the Kings a much more exciting product to watch, but teams led by rookie guards don’t typically win many games.

Center Domantas Sabonis should be Sacramento’s top producer, but he’s coming off a year in which he played just 19 games. Sabonis also has defensive limitations, which have plagued the Kings in recent seasons.

Sometimes it’s savvy to take the over on such a low win total, but the Kings won just 22 games last year while several teams were actively tanking. They ranked 28th in net rating and had an expected record of 19-63.

With most of the league trying to win games this year, things could get even worse in Sacramento.
