Last Time an Atlanta Falcons Coach Won Coach of the Year

Mike Smith was the last Falcons’ coach to win the NFL Coach of the Year Award.

Smith won in 2008 after leading Atlanta to an 11-5 regular season record and a playoff berth after the awful 2007 season.

Dan Reeves (1998) is the only other coach to win the award in franchise history.
