Before his time in Arizona, Petzing spent three years with the Cleveland Browns. After interning with the team in 2013, Petzing returned to coach tight ends (2020-21) and quarterbacks (2022).
Petzing also acquired NFL coaching experience with the Minnesota Vikings.
