After he was selected with the second overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud signed a four-year contract with an average annual salary of $9.07 million.

C.J. Stroud’s contract has a total value of $36,279,243, all of which is fully guaranteed.

C.J. Stroud Salary

C.J. Stroud’s base salary for the 2023 season is $750,000. His total cap hit for 2023 is $6,596,226.

C.J. Stroud Signing Bonus

C.J. Stroud’s signing bonus for his rookie contract totaled $23,384,904.

C.J. Stroud 5th Year Option

Like all first-round picks, Stroud’s rookie contract can be extended by the Texans for a fifth year. That extension would govern the 2027 NFL season.
