  • Kenyon Sadiq is predicted to become the latest tight end to go in the first round.
  • Oddsmakers price Sadiq at -175 to go inside the first 15 picks on Thursday.

Most Tight Ends Selected in First Round

The 2017 NFL Draft set the record for the most tight ends selected in the first round of the NFL Draft.

Three tight ends heard their names called, all inside the first 30 picks. O.J. Howard joined Tampa Bay at pick 19, with Evan Engram going to the Giants four picks later.

David Njoku rounded out the trio, going at pick 29 to Cleveland.

That year’s draft marked the first time since 2006 multiple tight ends went in the first round. Last year, Colston Loveland and Tyler Warren both went in the first 14 picks.
