It’s the second week of the FedEx Cup playoffs with the BMW Championship from Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis.
Only the top 50 players in the season-long FedEx Cup standings are in the field, with the top 30 after this week making it to the Tour Championship next week in Atlanta.
Scottie Scheffler enters the week with the best odds to win at +275.
Bellerive isn’t a regular stop on the PGA Tour. The last event it hosted was the 2018 PGA Championship.

Scottie Scheffler is predicted to win the BMW Championship with a 26.67% implied probability, according to betting markets.
Implied probability is the overall chance of a potential outcome in relation to the odds.
BMW Championship Best Bets
Ludvig Aberg Outright Winner (+1600)
Aberg is one of the best talents on the PGA Tour; it just hasn’t played out in the winning department. He’s only won twice, the last coming at last year’s Genesis Invitational. All this to say, it feels like he’s due.
Aberg enters this week playing solid golf of late, finishing T-7 at last week’s FedEx St. Jude Championship and T-9 at the Open Championship.
Given his exceptional ball-striking, it all comes down to his putter.
Cameron Young Top-10 Finish (+130)
It hasn’t been the greatest couple of weeks for Young, finishing T-39 or worse the last two weeks. The issue, even beyond these last two weeks, has been his putter, as he’s lost strokes putting in four of his last seven events.
Young’s ball-striking has still been good, so if he can clean his putter up, this feels like solid value at plus money.
In addition, Bellerive is similar to Detroit Golf Club, a place Young finished inside the top 10 just a few weeks ago.
