  • The winner's payout for the 2022 BMW Championship is $2.7 million.
  • The total purse for the 2022 BMW Championship is $15 million.
  • The BMW Championship is the second event of the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

Patrick Cantlay repeated as champion of the BMW Championship, the second of three FedEx Cup Playoff events as the 2021-22 PGA Tour betting season nears completion.

The BMW Championship has been part of the FedEx Cup Playoffs since its inception in 2007. However, this is the first time it has been contested at Wilmington Country Club. And with his win – over 67 players in a no-cut tournament – Cantlay is now No. 7 in the FedEx Cup Standings, six spots behind No. 1 Will Zalatoris.

The total purse is $15 million, $2.7 million of which is the winner’s payout to Cantlay, who now has eight career PGA Tour wins.
