The Masters par-3 contest is held the Wednesday of Masters week at Augusta National.
This is one of the most significant traditions of the week that is all about the players’ families. Wives, girlfriends, children, and even grandchildren serve as caddies and wear the traditional white jumpsuits that caddies wear during the week.
It is played at the nine-hole par-3 course on the Augusta National property.
No player who has won the par-3 contest has gone on to win the Masters in the same year.
What Time Is Masters Par-3 Contest?
The Masters par-3 contest typically begins at noon on the Wednesday prior to the tournament. Players get to sign up for their own tee times and pick who they play with.
