UFC 324: Nikita Krylov vs. Modestas Bukauskas: Prediction

I predict a unanimous decision win for Bukauskas, as he’s the younger and more explosive fighter. He’s also a slightly better striker than Krylov, and I think he’ll be able to successfully defend the takedowns during the fight.

Krylov may have the advantage in terms of reach and leg reach, but Bukauskas is pretty good at closing the distance, picking his shots, and accurately landing on his opponents, all thanks to his solid kickboxing background.

One of the best ways for Krylov to avoid the combinations from Bukauskas is to use his grappling. However, with his youth and explosiveness, I see the Lithuanian contender stopping these takedowns and making this a striking match.

Nikita Krylov’s Recent Fight Results

Krylov is a UFC veteran with 20 fights inside the octagon since September 2013. But he’s currently on a two-fight losing streak with defeats to Dominick Reyes and Bogdan Guskov. Before that, he had three straight victories over Alexander Gustafsson, Volkan Oezdemir, and Ryan Spann.

Modestas Bukauskas’ Recent Fight Results

Bukauskas was the former Cage Warriors champion when the UFC signed him in 2023. Since then, he has won six of his seven fights inside the octagon. He’s currently on a four-fight win streak, after victories over Marcin Prachnio, Rafael Cerqueira, Ion Cutelaba, and Paul Craig. His only loss in the UFC was courtesy of Vitor Petrino.
