My prediction is a TKO/KO finish for Magomedov over Pereira, as he’s the more technical and calculated fighter. Pereira prefers a chaotic exchange in which he and his opponents wildly swing their punches.
But Magomedov’s style doesn’t allow these types of swinging-for-the-fences battles. Instead, he’s very calculated with his strikes and often picks his shots very well. The only thing he needs to avoid in this match is staying on the fence too long.
Additionally, Pereira gasses himself out after the opening round because he’s always throwing with power with every punch. If he blows his stamina early, it’ll be a very dangerous spot for him against Magomedov, who ramps up his strike volume as the fight goes on.
