Kline’s well-rounded approach is why I pick her to win over Ricci via decision. Kline is a very good striker and wrestler, who’s very good at mixing up his offense. Meanwhile, Ricci struggles heavily when she fights a better grappler.
Kline does a good job of luring her opponents into striking with her quick, crisp combinations before timing a perfect level change. Once she secures the takedown, Kline immediately jumps on top, where she fires ground-and-pound strikes and threatens multiple submissions.
Although Kline will likely take the fight to the ground and work her way to several submission attempts, Ricci’s toughness and durability will help her survive for three rounds. The only concern for Kline if he chooses the grappling route, is not to blow her cardio.
