UFC Vegas 116: Jackson McVey vs. Sedriques Dumas: Prediction
A TKO/KO victory for McVey over Dumas is my prediction, since he has slightly better striking and maximizes his leg kicks. Without the threat of a takedown, I think McVey will go all in with his striking in this match against Dumas.
Despite Dumas having a solid grappling skill set and McVey’s lack of takedown defense, I still think this fight will be contested on the feet. McVey’s almost 5-inch leg-reach advantage will be the catalyst in this department.
Furthermore, McVey has an incredible clinch game, where he fires lethal elbows and knees to inflict significant damage. This is where I believe McVey will put Dumas to sleep with a solid elbow or a knee strike in close range.
