NCAA Basketball Odds | College Basketball Betting Lines | BetMGM

Two years removed from the first-ever canceled tournament and one year removed from the first-ever tournament played entirely in one state, college basketball is back to normalcy.

College basketball avoided the mass opt-outs that swept across college football and had 347 teams start the 2020-21 college hoops season, giving fans thousands of opportunities to bet online with spreads, parlays, teasers, and more. Sixty-eight of those teams arrived at six different venues across Indiana in March and provided buzzer-beaters, Cinderella runs, and, in the case of Baylor, one of the most dominant championship performances in college basketball history.

Several contenders were eliminated in an opening weekend filled with madness, including three Big Ten teams that entered March with Final Four hopes, en route to breaking the 1986 record for the highest average seed (5.88) in the Sweet 16. And with Virginia ousted by Ohio in the First Round – followed by Baylor’s first national championship – there wasn’t a repeat national champion for the 13th consecutive tournament. Not since Florida won back-to-back championships in 2006 and 2007 has a team joined the Gators and five other programs (Duke, UCLA, Cincinnati, San Francisco, Kentucky, and Oklahoma State) as the only back-to-back champions in NCAA history.

A lot has changed in NCAA basketball since Virginia cut down the nets in Minneapolis in April 2019 to close the last normal season. More than 100 programs have changed coaches in the last two years, one program left for Division II (Savannah State), and several have transitioned – or are currently transitioning – to Division I.

Live College Basketball Betting

Live sports betting is available throughout the 2021-22 college basketball season.

With up-to-the-second basketball odds for hundreds of games each week, you can place live bets from the opening tip-off through the final buzzer. Live basketball betting allows fans to use their sports and betting expertise to deliver more excitement and more payouts.

Whether you’re watching a Michigan-Ohio State game on TV, tracking the scores of Big 12 games online, or watching a Kentucky-Tennessee game at Thompson–Boling Arena, you can place a live bet on college basketball odds from November through April.
