NFL Odds at BetMGM

NFL betting never sleeps at the online sportsbook!

Weekly game odds and NFL futures are available throughout the year, including spreads, moneylines, championship odds and MVP odds.

Will the Kansas City Chiefs become the first team to win three straight titles? Can Lamar Jackson defend his MVP? Do you like the Detroit Lions Super Bowl odds after last year’s NFC Championship loss?

Whatever your predictions are for the 2024-25 season, you can make them at BetMGM!

If you’re new to NFL betting this year, here’s a general betting guide:

How To Read NFL Odds

Here are the most common types of NFL odds and bets:

What’s the Spread in NFL Betting?

How many points will a team win or lose by?

For example, if Ja’Marr Chase and the Cincinnati Bengals are favored by 2.5 points against George Pickens and the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2024 regular season, the Bengals must win by at least three points to cover the spread and cash a bet on the Bengals odds. The Steelers must win the game or lose by two or fewer points to cash a bet on the Steelers odds.

What’s an NFL Moneyline?

Which team will win the game?

If the Seattle Seahawks are -125 moneyline favorites against the Denver Broncos in a preseason game, a moneyline bet on the Seahawks odds will cash if Seattle wins.

If you bet $10 on the Seahawks at -125, the payout would be $18, including the stake.

How Do NFL Over/Under Totals Work?

How many total points will be scored in the game?

If a game’s over/under total is 48.5, the two teams must combine for at least 49 points for Over bets to cash. Or they must combine for 48 or fewer points for Under bets to cash.

What’s an NFL Prop Bet?

How many passing yards will Brock Purdy have? How many total touchdowns will Travis Kelce score?

There are dozens of prop bets available for each game. From player props like over/under rushing yards or longest touchdown to team props like points scored or turnovers, you can focus on any area of the game.

NFL Futures Odds

Betting on futures is a great way to maintain excitement throughout the season.

Here are some types of futures:

  • NFL MVP Odds
  • NFL Win Totals
  • AFC Championship Odds
  • NFC Championship Odds
  • NFL Coach of the Year Odds

Live NFL Betting

Live betting is available for each regular-season and postseason game.

Regardless if you place a pregame bet, you can place live bets throughout each game.

It’s a unique opportunity to increase your stake on a pregame bet, hedge against a futures bet, or take a new position for the second half of a game.

Check out the live betting page now and bet online when the action starts on the field!

NFL Parlays

A special way to use your football and betting knowledge for more excitement and bigger potential payouts, parlays allow fans to make high-reward bets across one or multiple games.

How Do NFL Parlays Work?

When you combine multiple bets into one wager, it’s called a parlay.

Here’s an example of a regular-season parlay:

  • Minnesota Vikings moneyline: -140
  • Los Angeles Rams spread (-2.5): -110
  • Joe Burrow passing touchdowns (over 2.5): -120

How Do NFL Parlay Payouts Work?

If all three legs hit, the potential payout is $125 on a $25 bet (including stake).

From two-leg moneyline parlays or three-leg spread parlays to Same Game Parlays or parlay promos, you can increase your potential payout while adding more thrill to each play.

More Football Odds

While betting on NFL odds, you can also view other football markets, including college football odds. You could place bets on Ohio State football odds, Michigan Big Ten Championship odds, or Tennessee football odds.
