College football halftimes are generally 20 minutes long. They may be slightly longer for playoff games that have concerts or other major media obligations.

Some days, halftime may seem like it goes much longer than that. Fans are increasingly asking about the length of a college football game, as high-scoring games can drift north of four hours.ย
