Texas Tech vs. Arizona: Preview & Notes

Arizona drew what turned out to be a tough conference schedule this year, with Big 12 games against Texas Tech, Utah, and BYU. Two of those games are on the road, including this week’s showdown at Texas Tech.

Arizona may have the matchup advantage here, as Noah Fifita’s excellent passing attack will challenge a Texas Tech defense that ranks 39th nationally in EPA/pass allowed.

Texas Tech opened as a modest 3.5-point favorite and will be looking to get right after its worst regular-season performance in a couple of years at Cincinnati on Saturday.

Since 2021, the Red Raiders are 10-4-1 ATS as a home favorite in Big 12 games.
