Monday was the MLB Trade Deadline, and a number of moves were made.

One of the biggest was the Red Sox reportedly acquiring All-Star catcher Adley Rutschman and catcher Jake Rogers from the Orioles in exchange for prospects Anthony Eyanson, Kyson Witherspoon, and Enddy Azocar, as well as catcher Carlos Narvaez.

There have been a lot of different perspectives on the trade, including one member of a different front office wondering if the Orioles got duped.

“I texted someone in a front office, and he said that the Orioles got duped in that transaction, where they are basically taking damaged goods in Eyanson and Witherspoon,” Lance Brozdowski said on Foul Territory Monday afternoon. “I am trying to reconcile my thoughts on that. I am torn. I don’t know.”

Rutschman is currently on the IL with a left wrist injury. The prospects the Red Sox gave up are considered to all be in the top eight of their farm system.

When it comes to MLB betting, the Red Sox are +1400 to win the World Series, while the Orioles are +10000.
