The Denver Nuggets have won 50 or more games in three straight seasons, including a 50-32 overall record last year.

Per the preseason NBA betting odds, the Nuggets have a win total of 53.5 for the 2025-26 campaign in David Adelmanโ€™s first full season as the head coach.

Nuggets Over/Under Wins 2025-26

  • Over 53.5 wins: -125
  • Under 53.5 wins: +105

Nuggets Win Total Prediction

  • Over 53.5 wins

For the first time since 2014-15, the Nuggets failed to clear their preseason win total. They won 50 games, finishing below their win total of 51.5.

Denver ultimately made a change at head coach heading into the postseason, replacing Michael Malone with Adelman. The Nuggets closed the regular season with a 3-0 clip under Adelman before losing in seven games to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference semifinals.

In the offseason, the Nuggets made a significant trade to land Cameron Johnson. They also added bench depth to help survive the 82-game regular season, which includes a trade for Jonas Valanฤiลซnas as the teamโ€™s backup center.

Valanฤiลซnas, who averaged 10.4 points and 7.7 rebounds last year, can help support a Denver team that has struggled when Nikola Jokiฤ‡ is off the floor. That could prove to be the difference in a few wins during the regular season.

The Nuggets have already demonstrated their ability to win a significant number of regular-season games, finishing 57-25 in the 2023-24 season to secure the No. 2 overall seed. That might be needed again to claim a high seed in a tough Western Conference.

I predict Denver will finish with about 55 wins this year.
