In what could be the next great NBA rivalry, the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs are set to meet in the Western Conference finals. Game 1 begins at 8:30 p.m. ET on Monday at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City on NBC.

I like the over on 15.5 points for San Antonio guard De’Aaron Fox entering tonight’s matchup in Oklahoma City.
Fox is questionable with some right ankle soreness, but he played through this injury in Round 2. Fox averaged 19.2 points in 31.2 minutes across the last five games of the series against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
So far this postseason, Fox is averaging 18.8 points on 15.4 field goal attempts in 33.3 minutes per contest. He’s cleared this scoring line in 10 of his 11 matchups during San Antonio’s playoff run.
Interestingly enough, this is the lowest-scoring line of the playoffs for Fox.
Not only is Fox a veteran on this young team, but he’s also got the most to lose in this series. If the Spurs struggle at all in this series, Fox could be blamed and ultimately moved in the offseason to create more opportunities for Stephon Castle and Dylan Harper.
With that in mind, I expect Fox to get off to a strong start in this series, especially as a scorer. He averaged 18.6 points in the regular season, clearing this line in 56.2% of his games.
