The Week 7 NFL action closes from Lincoln Financial Field with Eagles vs Cowboys.

Beyond side, total and moneyline markets, bettors also have access to myriad player props. Below, I’ve outlined my best player prop predictions for the showcase based on NFL odds.

Eagles vs Cowboys Prediction: MNF Player Props

CeeDee Lamb Over 82.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Recently, Dak Prescott has made a concerted effort to get his top receiver the ball. In two of his previous three games, Lamb amassed at least 18 targets.

Over 82.5 @ -115 Under 82.5 @ -115

Last week against Green Bay, he caught nine of his 18 targets for 70 yards. In Week 4, he caught 17 receptions on 21 targets for 189 yards against a strong Texans defense.

Now, he gets an Eagles defense that has shown prior weakness against opposing receivers. Through six games, Philadelphia allowed 181.2 yards to opposing receivers, the fourth-most in the NFL.

Most of that poor output came in Philadelphia’s last four contests.

At least one opposing pass catcher saw success against this line. Here’s a breakdown of the top receiving line in each of the Eagles’ last four games:

  • Week 3 at Chicago: Kalif Raymond, 90 yards
  • Week 4 vs LA Rams: Puka Nacua, 125 yards
  • Week 5 at Jacksonville: Parker Washington, 124 yards
  • Week 6 vs Carolina: Jalen Coker, 97 yards

Last year, Lamb amassed 75 and 110 yards in his games against Philadelphia. He accumulated at least 11 targets in each of those two games.

Albeit against a lofty line, I predict Lamb clears this benchmark for the first time since Week 4.

Dak Prescott Over 266.5 Passing Yards (-115)

Only Jayden Daniels, Cam Ward and Case Keenum stayed under this line against the Eagles. Meanwhile, Matthew Stafford, Trevor Lawrence and Bryce Young cleared it.

Over 266.5 @ -115 Under 266.5 @ -115

It’s my perspective that Prescott rates closer to the latter trio.

On MNF, he gets an Eagles defense that, despite the aforementioned successes, ranks amongst the most vulnerable pass defenses in the league.

In their first three games, Philadelphia surrendered 250.4 passing yards per game. Over the last three contests, it rises to 309.6 yards per game.

Stafford and Lawrence both cleared 300 passing yards in narrow victories over the Eagles. Young, off a Week 5 bye, tossed 20 completions for 281 yards last week.

Prescott narrowly stayed under this line against the Packers. He threw for 258 yards against Green Bay, ending a streak of four straight games clearing this line.

Last year against the Eagles, he produced volatile results. However, he threw for 354 yards in the most recent meeting between these teams.
