Injuries are a part of life for any NFL franchise, but they seem to be especially relevant for the Dallas Cowboys.

Enter backup quarterback Cooper Rush, who has seen an above-average amount of playing time as backup to Dak Prescott and his massive contract.

That includes 2024, where Cooper Rush is slated to play major time in the final months of the season now that Prescott is sidelined.ย

During previous seasons, when the Cowboys had a strong run game and/or an elite defense, Rush has been successful in a more limited fill-in duty. But now that the roster has degraded, heโ€™ll be facing a much higher potential for a negative game script.

Itโ€™s a challenging time for Dallas Cowboys odds bettors.
