Rarely in his career has Patrick Mahomes slipped up against the Raiders. However, he has struggled to cover the spread against his AFC West foe.

Mahomes faced the Raiders 15 times entering Week 4 of the 2026 season. Straight up, he is 13-2 against the Raiders. Against the spread, he finished 8-7.

Oddly, Mahomes’ straight up defeats came at lofty prices. In Oct. 2020, he lost as a -475 home favorite, or an 83% implied probability winner.

Three years later on Christmas Day, Mahomes’ Chiefs lost 20-14 at home against Las Vegas. Kansas City closed -560 on the moneyline and was an 11-point home favorite.

Based on current NFL odds, oddsmakers list the 3-0 Chiefs as a 4.5-point road favorite against the 3-0 Raiders.

If the line closes south of -6.5, it would mark only the second time Mahomes closed beneath a touchdown against Las Vegas.

In Nov. 2021, Mahomes closed as a three-point road favorite against the Raiders. Kansas City won and covered with ease, 41-14.
