Kyler Murray has been targeting a Week 1 return from his ACL injury, but it’s unlikely he’ll be ready to play by Sept. 10.

Arizona hasn’t publicly revealed a timetable for Murray’s return. According to the Athletic, Murray’s most likely return date is around the start of October.

Murray tore his ACL last December, in Week 14 of Arizona’s 2022 campaign. He’s been furiously rehabbing ever since. He finished the season ranked 19th in total QBR.

According to the NFL futures market, the Cardinals are expected to be among the worst teams in the NFL this season. They are currently six-point underdogs at Washington for Week 1 at the BetMGM online sportsbook.
