The PGA Tour playoffs will get underway this week with the FedEx St. Jude Championship from TPC Southwind in Memphis.
Of the 70 players who qualified, only Daniel Berger is not in the field.
Scottie Scheffler enters the week with the best odds to win at +450.
Winning scores have been between 15 and 17-under all four prior years, so birdies will need to be made, but it will not be a complete birdie fest.

FedEx St. Jude Championship Prediction
Scottie Scheffler is predicted to win the FedEx St. Jude Championship with a 18.18% implied probability, according to betting markets. Rory McIlroy is next at 5.26%.
Implied probability is the overall chance of a potential outcome in relation to the odds.
FedEx St. Jude Championship Best Bets
Xander Schauffele Outright Winner (+1800)
It hasn’t been the greatest of seasons by Schauffele’s standards, but he spoke a few weeks ago about playing more free and being less technical. It paid off with a solo second at the Rocket Classic.
Specific to TPC Southwind, it’s been a mixed bag. He has two top-6 finishes, including a T-2 in 2024.
Regardless, I’m heavily weighing his form, as he had his best ball-striking week since the Masters at the Rocket.
Jordan Spieth Top-20 Finish (+240)
Spieth is the only player in the field to not record a top-10 finish this year, but it still was a solid year. He had eight top-20 finishes and only missed three cuts.
He’s also coming off a solid week at the Wyndham, where he finished T-19.
Spieth also needs a solid finish to make sure he qualifies for next week’s BMW Championship and also gets into the PGA Tour signature events next year.
Over the years, he’s shown he can play good golf under pressure, and this week should be no different.
