For the only time this season, the PGA Tour was in Mexico April 27-30 for the Mexico Open at Vidanta.
It was not a designated event, so it didn’t have as many stars as other events, but some big-name players were still in the field, including defending champion Jon Rahm.
Rahm made a charge over the weekend, including a 10-under 61 on Saturday, but Tony Finau was able to hold him off.
Finau finished the week at 24-under, to win by three strokes.
It was Finau’s second win of the 2022-23 PGA Tour season and sixth overall.
The purse was $7.7 million.
