How Many Patrons Attend The Masters?

The exact number of patrons, or fans, that attend the Masters isn’t exactly clear, as Augusta National does not make the number public. But, it’s believed around 40,000 patrons attend the event Thursday-Sunday.

More attend Monday-Wednesday for the practice rounds and Masters par-3 contest.

This figure is much lower than a typical PGA Tour event, which is no surprise given a Masters ticket is one of the toughest to get in sports. In contrast, the WM Phoenix Open gets close to 700,000 fans.

Attending the Masters is a unique experience as concession prices are super cheap, and no cell phones are allowed on the property.
