Sandwiched between the Memorial, a PGA Tour signature event, and the U.S. Open is the RBC Canadian Open from TPC Toronto.
While many players are taking the week off, a few stars are in the field, headlined by Tommy Fleetwood and Matt Fitzpatrick.
Fleetwood has the best odds to win at +1200.
TPC Toronto will host the event for the second straight year. At over 7,500 yards, it should play quite long and favor players who hit their long irons well.
I will be prioritizing the following metrics: Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee, Strokes Gained: Approach, Proximity 150+ yards, Driving Distance, Strokes Gained: Par-4, Strokes Gained: Around-the-Green and Strokes Gained: Putting.

RBC Canadian Open Prediction
Tommy Fleetwood is predicted to win the RBC Canadian Open with an 7.69% implied probability, according to betting markets. Matt Fitzpatrick is next at 6.67%.
Implied probability is the overall chance of a potential outcome in relation to the odds.
RBC Canadian Open Best Bets
Alex Fitzpatrick Outright Winner (+4000)
When Alex won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans with his brother Matt to earn full status on the PGA Tour, some pointed to Matt carrying the load and perhaps expected Alex to struggle.
That hasn’t been the case at all, as since the win, Alex has three top-10 finishes, all at signature events, including a T-6 at the Memorial last week. (It’s worth noting he’s outperformed Matt during this recent stretch, too.)
Over his last 16 rounds, Fitzpatrick has cleared +2.5 Strokes Gained: Ball-striking six times. That should come in handy this week, and it will come down to how well he can putt.
Against a relatively weak field, this could be the time Fitzpatrick really breaks out and picks up his first solo PGA Tour victory.
Tommy Fleetwood Top-5 Finish (+260), Top-10 Finish (+138)
With many of the PGA Tour stars opting to take the week off, Fleetwood finds himself as arguably the best player in the field.
He enters with two top-5 finishes, sandwiched between a surprising missed cut at the PGA Championship.
Competing against a weak field and posting six top-10 finishes in 11 events this season, it seems likely Fleetwood will continue his success again this week north of the border.
