Following a loaded field at The CJ Cup last week, many of the PGA Tour’s best players took the week off for the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
Seamus Power (No. 48), the highest-ranked player in the field in the Official World Golf Rankings, picked up his second career PGA Tour win by finishing at 19-under, one shot better than Thomas Detry.
Power was able to win despite a 1-under par 70 on Sunday, which included four bogeys on his back-nine.
At 6,828 yards, Port Royal Golf Course is one of the shortest courses PGA Tour players will play all year. But, the course can play a lot longer in windy conditions.
The event had a $6.5 million purse.
