- Tottenham is predicted to be a 0.5-goal home favorite against Everton.
- With a win or draw, Tottenham will guarantee Premier League safety this year.
- My Tottenham vs Everton prediction is Both Teams to Score - “Yes” (-150).
Tottenham will attempt to secure Premier League safety on Sunday against Everton.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side sits 17th in the league table entering the final day. To avoid relegation, Tottenham needs to either win/draw OR have West Ham draw/lose if Tottenham loses.
Everton enter Sunday’s match with minimal motivation. David Moyes’ side sits 12th in the table and, barring a massive goal differential swing, cannot reach the European positions.

Everton vs Tottenham Prediction
Based on Tottenham’s poor defensive record recently and offensive success at Everton, my Tottenham vs Everton prediction is Both Teams to Score – “Yes” (-150).
Even if Tottenham avoid relegation, the defense still leaves much to be desired. Only once in the previous 17 league fixtures has Tottenham kept a clean sheet.
That success came at Wolves, an unmotivated side lacking attacking prowess. Plus, Everton created decent scoring opportunities in the reverse fixture against Spurs.
The Toffees created 1.75 expected goals and 1.2 post-shot xG in a 3-0 defeat. Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario saved two shots worth at least 0.5 post-shot xG.
Everton has scored at least once in nine of its previous 10 matches. The only failure came at Arsenal – the league’s best defense – despite creating 1.2 expected goals.
Bettors should simultaneously see chances for Tottenham, too. In the reverse fixture – albeit under different management – Tottenham generated 1.7 xG and 3.2 post-shot xG.
De Zerbi also has the attack performing better. Tottenham has scored in four straight and nine of their previous 11 league fixtures.
The attack created at least one expected goal in nine straight matches, including at least 1.5 in two of the previous four.
I question the defensive motivation for Everton, who are on the beach. Pair that motivation angle with Tottenham’s recent success, and I predict both teams will find a tally.
