College GameDay is coming to Vanderbilt for just the second time in the history of the show.ย

While many SEC schools have hosted ESPNโ€™s flagship college football show a dozen times or more, Vanderbilt is a particularly rare host site to find on the schedule.

Itโ€™ll be even harder than usual for the Rece and the gangโ€™s College GameDay predictions to not favor Vandy on Saturday.

When Was the Last Time College GameDay Went to Vanderbilt?

Prior to its 2025 trip to Nashville, the only other time College GameDay has gone to Vanderbilt was Oct. 4, 2008.

A whopping 17 years ago, Vanderbilt was similarly ranked in the AP Top 25 and hosting a big game against No. 13 Auburn. The Commodores won a thriller 14-13.ย That means Vanderbilt is undefeated when hosting College GameDay. Keep that in mind when considering Vanderbilt football odds this week.
