At this point in the season, Milwaukee Brewers catcher William Contreras has the most overturns via the Automated Ball-Strike Challenge System. He has won 37 challenges via the ABS thus far.
According to Baseball Savant’s ABS leaderboard, Contreras is 36-for-64 on challenges as a catcher and 1-for-2 as a batter.
Since this is the inaugural season using ABS, it will be interesting to see which players prove most effective at challenging strike-zone calls throughout the year.
