Will Nevada Make the NCAA Tournament?

Nevada is a bubble team that is expected to make the 2024 NCAA Tournament. A Feb. 27 win at Colorado State likely sealed the bid. 

If the Wolf Pack are indeed included, it’ll be the second straight berth under head coach Steve Alford, who is now coaching in his fifth year in Reno. 

Nevada’s at-large viability is largely due to the growing strength of the Mountain West, which is increasingly viewed as a deep and powerful conference in college basketball. 

Currently, six different Mountain West teams are projected to make the men’s NCAA Tournament this year.
