Below, bettors can find my Week 7 anytime TD scorer predictions based on NFL odds.
This week, I’ve identified a potential buy-low spot on a wide receiver against a terrible defense. Additionally, I’m eyeing another receiver in a good matchup who has yet to score this season.
Let’s dive into the predictions. Odds are reflective at time of writing and are subject to movement.
2 Best Anytime TD Scorer Predictions for Week 7
Christian Watson Anytime Touchdown (+135) at Detroit Lions
In Week 5, the Lions ended a four-game streak in which a receiver scored at least one touchdown against the defense. Now, they face an outstanding Packers offense.
Yes @ +135Watson failed to score a touchdown in Week 6 against Dallas. He remains one of Jordan Love’s favorite targets as the Packers approach the opposing end zone.
Matthew Golden – +125 to score this week – actually enjoys a four-target edge from inside the 20-yard line (11 vs 7). But it’s Watson who leads Green Bay with four targets inside the 10.
Of Golden’s 11 targets, only three came from inside the 10-yard line. With both players equal on three touchdowns, I slightly prefer the price on Watson in a buy-low spot.
Before failing to score against Dallas, Watson scored a touchdown in three of his previous four games. He added an unlikely 81-yard touchdown reception in Week 1 against the Vikings.
Last season, Watson enjoyed a strong outing in his lone appearance against Detroit. In Week 13, he caught four passes on 10 targets for 80 yards and a touchdown.
Those factors lead me to predict he possesses greater touchdown equity than his odds suggest.
Drake London Anytime Touchdown (+130) vs San Francisco 49ers
Would it surprise you to know that London has yet to find the end zone this season?
Yes @ +130Playing two games with Cooper Rush undoubtedly contributes to that fact. Even with Michael Penix Jr., London notched only two targets inside the 20-yard line.
Atlanta’s offense prioritizes running the football with Bijan Robinson nearing the goal line. The NFL Offensive Player of the Year candidate carried 10 times from inside the 10-yard line.
But London receives arguably his best matchup of the season in Week 7. San Francisco has surrendered a touchdown to an opposing receiver in five straight games.
Last week, Stefon Diggs scored a touchdown against the Niners. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Jaylen Waddle and Michael Wilson all found the end zone in three prior games.
San Francisco’s defense also faces a short-week road game as a negative regression candidate on defense.
The unit has surrendered under two red zone opportunities only twice all year. Those successes? At home against Denver and Miami.
Both those offenses pace well behind the Falcons in their offensive ceiling. Accordingly, I like the price on London to finally find the end zone on Sunday.
