Giants vs Cowboys Odds: Spread, Moneyline & Over/Under

Who is Favored to Win Giants vs Cowboys?

Current odds favor the Dallas Cowboys to win against the New York Giants on SNF. At -160, Dallas possesses a 61.5% implied probability to start the season 1-0.

Recent support favored the Cowboys, who opened at -2.5 against the Giants. Currently, Dallas is a three-point road favorite with the Giants’ moneyline price rising from +120 at open to +130.

Cowboys vs Giants Prediction

Based on the Giants’ defensive departures this offseason and their lack of success against Dallas last year, my Giants vs Cowboys prediction is the Cowboys Over 25.5 Points.

Trading Dexter Lawrence leaves a massive absence on New York’s defense. The unit remains strong at edge rusher, but it’s mitigated here against a good Cowboys offensive line.

It led to the team struggling immensely last year against a strong Cowboys offense.

When the teams met in Week 2, Dallas raced the Giants defense for 40 points. Even if you remove two Brandon Aubrey field goals outside 50 yards, they still clear this number.

I want to focus on the Week 18 meeting, though. Neither team had anything to play for in the game, but the Cowboys offense still started well.

Dallas scored 10 points in the first quarter with Dak Prescott at quarterback. However, it’s a bit of a misleading number for the entire half based on their ball progression metrics.

Aubrey kicked a 22-yard field goal after the Cowboys failed to score from the Giants’ four-yard line. Dallas later turned the ball over on downs at the Giants’ three-yard line.

The Cowboys could have easily produced a better offensive record against a bad defense. More concerning for the Giants? Lawrence played his usual snaps in the season finale.

Bettors have to go all the way back to 2024 to find Giants games without Lawrence. The defensive results by the Giants defense leave so much to be desired.

Three teams – Baltimore, Atlanta and Indianapolis – scored 30+ against a Lawrence-less defense. The two teams that failed to clear this benchmark? New Orleans and Philly.

Derek Carr started for New Orleans with no Chris Olave. Tanner McKee started for the Eagles and somehow led them to 20 points.

Dallas offers a significantly higher ceiling than both those teams. Additionally, the one-two punch of CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens should expose a weak corner group.

Those factors lead me to predict Dallas clears a lofty number against a horrific defense.
