Ranking NFL Week 7 Games: Most Watchable to Least
1. Chiefs/Seahawks (-2.5) – Sunday, Oct. 25 8:20 p.m.
Patrick Mahomes at the reigning, defending Super Bowl champions. Is that enough of a sell? How about Kenneth Walker III returning to Seattle to play the team he just won Super Bowl MVP for? The Seahawks desperately need a win while the Chiefs look to remain undefeated. Sign me up!
2. Patriots/Bears (-3) – Thursday, Oct. 22 8:15 p.m.
This QB matchup is mouth-watering. The No. 1 pick in 2024 (Caleb Williams) vs. the No. 3 pick in 2024 (Drake Maye). The winner will move to 5-2 and feel awesome about their playoff chances.
3. Packers/Lions (-3) – Sunday, Oct. 25 4:25 p.m.
If you enjoy points and offensive fireworks, this is the game for you. The Lions are rested coming off their bye, while the Packers look to make it four straight wins. I’d be surprised if we didn’t get a shootout.
4. Cowboys (-4.5)/Eagles – Monday, Oct. 26 8:15 p.m.
This will be must-see in the way that makes people rubberneck. There is zero reason for the Cowboys not to win against an Eagles team spiraling out of control, but then again, they’re the Cowboys. And it’s in primetime!
5. Rams (-4)/Raiders – Sunday, Oct. 25 4:25 p.m.
The “dream team” Rams have been more like a nightmare, and need a win to avoid an unfathomable 2-5 start. Answer this question: In 2026, which team has the better quarterback: LA’s Matthew Stafford or LV’s Kirk Cousins?
6. Bengals (-1)/Ravens – Sunday, Oct. 25 1 p.m.
This is assuming Lamar Jackson starts at quarterback for the Ravens. Lamar vs. Burrow; winner keeps pace in the AFC North- need I say more?
7. Giants/Texans (-10.5) – Sunday, Oct. 25 1 p.m.
With J.J. McCarthy set to start for the Giants, it sets up a fascinating game. Can McCarthy move the ball against a Texans defense that has struggled mightily? Or will facing J.J. be the tonic that cures Houston’s defensive ails?
8. Steelers (-3.5)/Saints – Sunday, Oct. 25 9:30 a.m.
Civil unrest in France aside, this should be a hell of a game. The Saints are feeling good about beating the Giants, while the Steelers have won two straight. I like Aaron Rodgers to outplay Tyler Shough and get Pittsburgh a win overseas.
9. Colts/Vikings (-6.5) – Sunday, Oct. 25 1 p.m.
The new “Call of Duty” game comes out on Friday, so factor that into your Kyler Murray handicaps. The Colts just lost to the Titans, and Shane Steichen’s job could be on the line.
10. Bucs/Panthers (-3) – Sunday, Oct. 25 1 p.m.
If Baker Mayfield returns to start for Tampa, this game will have a ton of juice. The Panthers can send the Bucs to 1-6 and all but end their playoff hopes.
11. Broncos (-4)/Cardinals – Sunday, Oct. 25 4:05 p.m.
Bo Nix can’t possibly be this bad, right? Right? Bueller?
12. 49ers (-3)/Falcons – Sunday, Oct. 25 1 p.m.
The 49ers are the walking wounded yet again, but the bye week awaits. Can they get to 7-0 before a much-needed week off? The Falcons would drop to 2-5 with a loss, and that would qualify as a massive disappointment.
13. Browns (-1.5)/Titans – Sunday, Oct. 25 1 p.m.
Deshaun Watson is somehow favored on the road in a real NFL game in the year of our lord 2026. What a time to be alive.
14. Dolphins/Jets – Sunday, Oct. 25 1 p.m.
Dolphins fans should spend Sunday watching tape of Oklahoma State QB Drew Mestemaker. This should be a get-right spot for a struggling Jets offense.
