Patrick Graham starts his fourth year as the Raiders’ defensive coordinator in 2025.

Graham worked as a DC for the previous six years. In addition to three years with Las Vegas, he spent two years as the New York Giants’ defensive coordinator.

Prior to joining the Giants, Graham earned a year of DC experience with the Miami Dolphins.

From a stats standpoint, his best seasons came in 2020 and 2023. New York and Las Vegas finished ninth in points allowed per game, respectively.

The spell in New York marked his second stint with the franchise. From 2016-17, Graham worked with New York as a defensive line coach.

In 2018, Graham worked with Green Bay as a linebackers coach and run game coordinator.

Most of Graham’s NFL experience came with the Patriots. He joined the organization in 2009 and worked in Foxborough until 2015:

  • 2009: Coaching Assistant
  • 2010: Defensive Assistant
  • 2011 & 2014-15: Linebackers Coach
  • 2012-13: Defensive Line Coach

Prior to New England, Graham worked for seven years in college football. Four came as a grad assistant with Wagner (2002-03) and Notre Dame (2007-08).

In between, he worked for three years with Richmond. One came as a defensive line coach with two years spent coaching tight ends.
