Following the final major of the season with the British Open, the PGA Tour will head to Minnesota for the 3M Open from TPC Twin Cities.
It is not a PGA Tour signature event, so many top players are taking the week off. With that being said, world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is in the field.
Scheffler has the best odds this week at +275.
The event has been around since 2019 and has been played at TPC Twin Cities every year. Past history shows it will be a birdie-fest, as the winning score has been 15-under or better each edition of the tournament.
Longer hitters have had success here, with Tony Finau and Cameron Champ both being past winners.

PGA Picks This Week
Ben James Outright Winner (+5000)
James earned his PGA Tour card earlier this summer by being ranked No. 1 in the PGA Tour University’s Class of 2026. He’s already had some solid showings, including a top-25 at the U.S. Open.
Most recently, he finished T-4 at the Corales Puntacana Championship a week ago.
While he missed the cut here playing as an amateur back in 2024, he’s a more mature player now. Against a weak field, this could be a great spot for him to get his first career victory.
Kurt Kitayama Top-10 Finish (+225)
Kitayama has been very consistent this season as he’s in the midst of a streak of making 11 straight cuts. Within that stretch, he has four top-20s and two top 10s.
As the defending champion, he has plenty of good vibes at TPC Twin Cities, and the length many have used to have success here.
Against a weak field, this feels like solid value.
3M Open Prediction
Scottie Scheffler is predicted to win the 3M Open with a 26.67% implied probability, according to betting markets. Kurt Kitayama is next at 3.85%.
Implied probability is the overall chance of a potential outcome in relation to the odds.
