What School Has the Most Heisman Trophy Winners?

Four different schools have had seven Heisman Trophy winners: Ohio State, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, and USC. As of 2023, no college football program has produced more than seven. 

Alabama is next on the list with four Heisman winners, all of which have come during the Nick Saban era of Crimson Tide football.

All five schools have players priced in the 2023 Heisman odds market. 

USC Heisman Trophy Winners

  • Mike Garrett (1965)
  • O.J. Simpson (1968)
  • Charles White (1979)
  • Marcus Allen (1981)
  • Carson Palmer (2002)
  • Matt Leinart (2004)
  • Caleb Williams (2022)

Additionally, USC running back Reggie Bush won the Heisman Trophy in 2005, but the award has since been vacated because of NCAA violations.
