The USC Trojans have had eight different players win the Heisman trophy, which is the most of any college football program.
Reggie Bush forfeited his Heisman Trophy in 2010 after an NCAA investigation revealed he accepted impermissible cash benefits while he was at USC. However, in 2024, Bush’s Heisman status was reinstated after the collapse of the NCAA amateur model.
With the return of Bush’s Heisman, USC now has eight total Heisman winners, which puts it alone atop the list of most successful Heisman schools. Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Notre Dame all have seven winners each.
