Below, bettors can find my two best anytime TD scorer predictions based on NFL odds.

Sunday’s slate features the usual suspects owning lofty anytime touchdown prices. Odds price Jahmyr Gibbs, Derrick Henry and Christian McCaffrey as the likeliest players to score.

This week, I’m targeting a quarterback and a wide receiver, both in plus money. Let’s dive into the predictions.

2 Best Anytime TD Scorer Predictions for Week 3

Baker Mayfield Anytime Touchdown (+475) vs. Vikings

Tampa Bay has struggled to reach the red zone this season. When they did, Mayfield showed a willingness to run it himself.

From inside the 10-yard line, the Bucs quarterback has attempted only two passes. Bucky Irving also carried once for 10 yards and a touchdown.

What’s surprising about Tampa Bay is that Mayfield matches Irving’s rushing attempts. Through two weeks, both have carried once from inside the 10 for a touchdown.

Minnesota has yet to allow an opposing quarterback to score a rushing touchdown. However, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams attempted to score on a play where he sustained an injury.

With the way the Vikings are blitzing right now – 76% blitz rate through two games – it may open up rushing opportunities for Mayfield.

That, paired with the lofty price on a player who has scored this year, leads me to predict Mayfield scores.

Mike Evans Anytime Touchdown (+125) vs. Cardinals

Evans sustained an injury midway through the Dolphins game, leading to only 28 snaps. Of course, a return was not required as the 49ers blitzed Miami 35-13.

After the game, head coach Kyle Shanahan expressed optimism Evans could have returned in a different game state. It leaves me optimistic about him heading into a favorable matchup.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba scored three touchdowns against the Cardinals secondary. In two straight games, Arizona has surrendered at least one touchdown pass.

San Francisco qualifies as the stiffest test for Arizona’s unit. Additionally, cornerback Will Johnson is going to miss Sunday’s game.

Arizona went from a +22.8% pass defense DVOA rating against the Chargers to a +50.6% rating against Seattle. Through two games, San Francisco ranks second in pass offense DVOA.

Evans caught a touchdown pass in Australia against the Rams. Despite exiting early, he still finished only on target behind leaders Deebo Samuel and George Kittle.

In Week 1, Evans and Samuel finished with seven targets apiece. It leads me to predict the former Buccaneers will score a touchdown at a higher rate than these odds suggest.
