The Defensive Player of the Year award is all but decided. Garrett, who set the single-season record, is -10000 to win the award.

Garrett opened the season at +700 to win the award. He finished the season with 23 sacks, 6.5 sacks ahead of Giants edge rusher Brian Burns.

The Cleveland edge rusher failed to record a sack in only three games this season. He recorded at least one sack in nine games and two or more sacks in four games.

Seven of Garrett’s 22 sacks came over a two-week span. In Weeks 11-12, Garrett sacked Geno Smith three times and Lamar Jackson four times.

His best performance of the season came in New England. Against MVP candidate Drake Maye, Garrett recorded five sacks in a 32-13 loss.

Garrett will join J.J. Watt and Aaron Donald as the only players to win multiple DPOY awards over the last 20 years.
