Below are my anytime touchdown scorer prop bet predictions for Week 5 of the NFL regular season.ย
For those unfamiliar with this market, it simply asks bettors to identify players who will score a touchdown at any point during the game.ย
Alternatively, bettors can elect to wager on the gameโs first touchdown scorer. That asks bettors to identify the player from either team who will find the endzone first.ย

Letโs dive into my Week 5 predictions based on NFL betting lines.ย
Anytime Touchdown Scorer Prediction: Commanders vs. Browns
Based on Clevelandโs record allowing rushing touchdowns, my anytime touchdown scorer prediction for Commanders vs. Browns is Brian Robinson Jr. (+100).
Even though bettors are buying high on Robinson, who has scored three touchdowns in four games, he receives a favorable matchup.ย
Cleveland is interesting in that theyโre fourth in PFFโs rush defensive grades. However, the Browns have simultaneously allowed a rushing touchdown in all four games.ย
That spells trouble against Robinson, who has dominated Washingtonโs red zone touches.ย
Amongst Washington backs, Robinson has 10 of 14 attempts inside the 10-yard line and 11 of 19 rushing attempts from inside the 20.ย
That trend has continued since last season. In 2023, Robinson amassed 12 of Washingtonโs 18 rushing attempts from inside the 10-yard line.ย
As a result, Iโll back Robinson to find the endzone for the third straight game on Sunday.ย
Anytime Touchdown Scorer Prediction: Vikings vs. Jets
Due to New Yorkโs lackluster rush defense and Minnesotaโs red zone tendencies, my Vikings vs. Jets anytime touchdown scorer prediction is Aaron Jones (+105).ย
Jones faces an incredibly below-average Jets run defense on Sunday in London.ย
Itโs also a great sell-high spot on the Jets, who havenโt allowed a rushing touchdown in two straight games.ย
But this remains a Jets defense thatโs 31st in PFFโs rush defensive grades facing a Minnesota offense that operates heavily on the ground in the red zone.ย
Jones is T-7th amongst all backs in rushing attempts inside the 10-yard line.ย
Add in his four targets inside the 10-yard line, and heโs second only to Kyren Williams on attempts + targets inside the 10.ย
Just on Minnesota, Jones has 12 touches inside the 10. Thatโs more than every wide receiver and tight end combined!ย
That makes this price surprising. While it could prove a trap, Iโll pay to see New York defend a strong offensive scheme.
