- The Giants’ 2026 win total is set at 7.5 wins at BetMGM.
- New York finished under its win total last year due to a weak defense.
- I predict there’s a case for the Giants to finish Under 7.5 Wins (-120).
For the 2026 NFL season, the Giants’ win total sits at 7.5 wins at the BetMGM online sportsbook.
New York endured a difficult 2025 season, finishing last in the NFC East. The team fired Brian Daboll midway through the season due to an inability to keep late leads.
Key injuries also plagued the Giants. Jaxson Dart missed a couple of games with a concussion, and Malik Nabers missed almost the entire season after tearing his ACL.
Here’s a look at the NFL odds for New York’s 2025 win total and my Giants win total prediction.
Giants Win Total Odds
The Giants’ season win total is set at 7.5 games.
Based on pricing, it’s predicted that the Giants are more likely to finish with seven or fewer wins. Currently, New York is +100 to finish over 7.5 wins compared to -120 for under 7.5 victories.
Here are the 2026 NFL win totals for all NFC East teams:
-
Philadelphia Eagles: 10.5 Wins
-
Dallas Cowboys: 8.5 Wins
-
Washington Commanders: 7.5 Wins
-
New York Giants: 7.5 Wins
Giants Win Total Prediction 2026
Based on potential concerns with New York’s defense and the overwhelming support for New York in the market, I predict the Giants finish Under 7.5 Wins (-120).
During last season, it was my belief that the Giants were going to rate out as a strong buy-low candidate.
A new head coach – paired with a sophomore quarterback – leading a team that ran wildly unlucky is usually a recipe for success.
Last season, the Giants ranked 17th in offensive snaps played with a lead. Yet, only four teams finished with fewer victories than New York.
New York finished 1.7 wins under expected last season due to a 1-7 record in one-possession games. Only nine teams earned more red zone trips, with New York converting 76% of field goals.
Normally, a new head coach helps reverse some of that misfortune.
But Harbaugh’s game management at Baltimore has proven shaky at best. Last year, Baltimore finished 2-5 in one-possession games after going 9-9 over the previous two years.
Maybe Harbaugh has learned from past game management errors. However, it’s reasonable to wonder if New York sees some positive regression in those areas.
Further driving Giants skepticism is the defense. Beyond Dexter Lawrence, Brian Burns and Abdul Carter, the Giants offer little resistance.
If there’s a glimmer of hope, it’s that the run defense dropped to 32nd in 2025 from 11th in 2024. That ranking can only improve, but I still worry about the secondary against this schedule.
Next season, the Giants face 10 games against the top-12 pass DVOA offenses from 2025.
In general, the defense projects to face the ninth-hardest set of offenses based on 2025 DVOA ratings.
Offensively, one key factor exists that offers skepticism surrounding Dart. He clearly passed the eye test in limited time, but he did so without facing many high-pressure situations.
Last year, Dart played 486 snaps and ranked 13th in adjusted EPA per play. But only 181 of those snaps came when the Giants had an expected win percentage between 30% and 70%.
How will Dart perform in closer situations should it arrive? That might decide by how much the Giants improve in 2026.
All of those factors are concerning for a team receiving a near critical mass of bets to overachieve. As of March 18, 96% of bets and 98% of money are hitting over 7.5 wins.
In fact, only six teams have received a higher money percentage to win the Super Bowl!
By 2026 season win totals, New York faces the 10th-hardest schedule. That, paired with the defensive schedule, is enough to make this win total prediction an under or a stayaway for me.
Most Wins in Giants History
The Giants’ franchise record for most regular season wins in a season is 14, which occurred in 1986 en route to winning their first Super Bowl.
Fewest Wins in Giants History
The Giants lowest win total in franchise history is one in 1966 when they went 1-12-1. It was an outlier sandwiched between two seven-win seasons.
