Ian Eagle, who calls NFL, NBA and college basketball games, will replace Jim Nantz following the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
The national championship between UConn and San Diego State will be the last college basketball game he will call, but he will still handle his NFL and golf duties for CBS.
โIt is time with two young children and an older daughter that I spend more time at home,โ Nantz told the New York Post last year.ย โDaddy needs to be home.โ
Nantz has called NCAA Tournament games since 1986.
The 2023 Final Four is in Houston, which is fitting for Nantz since that is where he went to college.
