Drafted No. 17 in 2019, New York Giants defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence is entering his fifth NFL season in 2023.

Dexter Lawrence Salary

The Giants picked up the fifth-year option on Lawrence, whose salary for 2023 will be $12,407,000.

Lawrence signed a four-year, $13,248,040 rookie deal with the Giants in 2016. It included a $7,654,936 signing bonus, with $13,248,040 guaranteed and an average annual salary of $3,312,010.

Lawrence’s cap hit for 2023 will be $12,407,000.

Dexter Lawrence Potential Extension

Lawrence is hovering around some great company regarding comparable players who signed similar deals to what he’ll be looking for in his next contract. Grady Jarrett, D.J. Reader, Javon Hargrave, and Dalvin Tomlinson are four players that showed similar production to Lawrence at this point in his career.

Lawrence’s next contract will likely have an average annual value of at least $15 million per season.
