The last time an NFL coach was dealt to another team was in 2023. The Denver Broncos traded a 2023 first-round pick and a 2024 second-rounder to the Saints for Sean Payton and New Orleansโ€™ 2024 third-round pick.

Other notable coaches to be moved in the past include Bruce Arians, Herm Edwards, Jon Gruden, Bill Belichick, MIke Holmgren, and Bill Parcells.

Belichick won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots after being traded from the New York Jets, and both Gruden and Arians won a title with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after moving on from the Raiders and Cardinals, respectively.
