Brown has established himself as one of the top right tackles in the NFL. His issue is staying on the field. Through eight NFL seasons, he’s played in ten games or fewer in four. That’s a problem regarding his overall value on the market and one of the reasons Brown hasn’t received more term in his recent contracts.
Brown’s still relatively young and would hit free agency as a 30-year-old. Whoever signs him to his next contract must consider his durability, even if the talent is there. If he stays healthy in 2023, Brown will likely receive another two-year deal of around $7 million per season.
