College football live betting is a fantastic way to experience the 2022 college football season.

From Week 0 odds in August through the College Football Playoff National Championship in January, you can place live bets on college football odds at the online sportsbook.

Whether you like betting on SEC odds, building moneyline parlays for Friday night games, or pounding unders in bad-weather games, there’s a variety of live sports betting opportunities for everyone.

What is College Football Live Betting?

College football live betting allows you bet on game after they begin.

Here’s an example with a Colorado-Arizona game:

Perhaps the Wildcats are 6.5-point favorites (-110) against the Buffaloes.

Maybe you placed a $100 pre-game wager on under 49.5 at -110 odds. Or maybe you didn’t place a college football bet on that game, and instead bet on Ohio State-Wisconsin, Kansas-West Virginia, or other games.

Regardless of your pregame betting or outstanding futures bets, the opportunity to bet on Colorado-Arizona didn’t close at kickoff. While you watched the game on TV, streamed it on your computer, or tracked the score online while watching other games, you could place in-game wagers.

And with BetMGM’s easy-to-use live betting page, placing a live wager has never been simpler

How to Live Bet on College Football Odds

You can place in-game bets from your computer with online sports betting or from your phone with mobile sports betting (on the BetMGM Sportsbook app). Betting on live college football lines is easy.

After watching Colorado pull two points, 16-14, with a pick-six late in the third quarter, the live betting odds might’ve been:

  • Spread: Arizona -4.5 (-110), Colorado +4.5 (-110)
  • Moneyline: Arizona -275, Colorado +190
  • Total: Over 45.5 (-110), Under 45.5 (-110)

Despite the narrow lead, you were confident Arizona would win and do so by holding Colorado to their current total of 14 points. You placed two live bets:

  • $100: Washington -4.5
    • Potential Payout: $190.91 (including stake)
  • $100: Under 45.5
    • Potential Payout: $190.91 (including stake)

Perhaps Arizona did win, 23-14, and your two live bets cashed; you won $381.82, a profit of $181.82.

Live Betting Parlays

Live sports betting isn’t limited to straight bets. You can also combine live odds from one or multiple games across one or multiple sports.

When viewing live betting odds for Colorado-Arizona, odds were also available during the fourth quarter of the Boise State-Wyoming game and third quarter of the Pittsburgh-Virginia game. Instead of, or in addition to placing the two straight live bets on Colorado-Arizona, you could’ve combined three bets for a parlay.

An example of a $100 live betting parlay involving three games:

  • Pittsburgh -5.5 (-110)
  • Colorado-Arizona under 45.5 (-110)
  • Boise State -8.5 (-110)

And if all three bets hit, the parlay payout would’ve been $695.79 on a $100 wager. BetMGM calculates parlay payouts for you, but you can also learn how to calculate parlay odds and payouts.
