Jim Harbaugh’s Career
Harbaugh began his coaching career as a quarterbacks coach for the Oakland Raiders in 2002. After the 2003 season, Harbaugh accepted the head coaching position with the San Diego Toreros. He was highly successful, going 29-6 over three seasons before moving to coach the Stanford Cardinal.

Harbaugh played quarterback for Michigan from 1982 to 1986.
He was drafted in the first round of the 1987 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. Harbaugh is best known for his time with the Indianapolis Colts from 1994-1997. He retired from the NFL in 2001 after brief stints with the Baltimore Ravens, San Diego Chargers, Detroit Lions, and Carolina Panthers.
